As I said on facebook, I love your template and header. You obviously put a lot of thought into this and it shows. Have fun with blogger and I sure in no time you will start conversing with other bloggers of similar interests and maybe even find others that you really enjoy. I have been blogging since 2005 and I still really enjoy it.
